Practice Miracles…
Practice makes the impossible possible. Which is why we return to our mats day after day. Seeking.
Questioning. Exploring. And unfolding.
As Summer solstice draws near, the warmth of the sun grows, and we move, sweat and typically smile more.
Let’s continue this healing pattern with yoga, music, and community!
Quotes from Alice in Wonderland:
Alice: If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because
everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would.
You see?

Caterpillar: Who are YOU?
Alice: This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. I — I hardly know, sir, just at present — at least I
know who I was when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.

Angela DiMario & Jill Baumgardner
Kula Movement, bodymind therapies was created by Angela (Baumgardner) DiMario and Jill Baumgardner in November 2008 after their relocation to Seattle.
Both Angela and Jill are certified AcroYoga and Forrest Yoga instructors who share the exploration of practice, teaching, healing,
and various modalities of Being. Angela graduated from the Shiatsu Massage School of California and continues to study bodywork, regularly flying to California to both teach and assist seminars.  Jill has completed the coursework for a Masters in Counseling Psychology, with her focus in Somatics, and is currently pursuing the final leg of her practicum while studying pregnancy, infancy and early childhood development. She completed the Prenatal Yoga Continuing Education Course through Seattle Holistic Center in April 2010.
Between Angela’s understanding of anatomy, physiology, and energetics, and Jill’s Master level studies in Somatic based Counseling Psychology, class is guided in a dynamic practice of structural awareness, strength, and rehabilitation.

Emily’s Bio:

Emily was first introduced to yoga at a local YMCA in 1998 when her mom first brought her to a class.  Since then has she tried as many different styles of yoga that she could- learning something new from each. She found an amazing balance of breath, strength and core work while taking classes from a Forrest yoga teacher. Having a hard time slowing down in everyday life- this moving meditation was the best way to clear her mind and get in her body. Wanting to share this invigorating practice with others she completed her yoga teacher training with Ana Forrest in Los Angeles in 2006. She sincerely believes that respecting and listening to your body is such an important practice to learn and loves to help others explore this through yoga.
Andi’s Bio:
Andi brings her passion for sharing the transformative benefits of yoga to her classes. She seeks to open the depth of possibility in every student, opening the heart and body to break away from what’s no longer useful, and to be free to pursue the life you dream of. She has practiced yoga since 1996 and in 2001 discovered Forrest Yoga, and experienced a path to deep healing, finding the true self, and nourishing the spirit. She completed the Forrest Yoga Foundational Training in 2006, and Forrest Yoga Continuing Education for Teachers in 2008.

Andi also completed Ironman Canada in 2009, enjoys rock climbing, studies meditation and enlightenment practices with WarriorSage, and is enrolled in the massage therapy program at Cortiva Institute.
