Diwali Yoga Trance Dance–Last One of 2015! Saturday, Nov 21, 7 – 9pm

“The goal of trance dancing is to let your creative energy move through you, to let Spirit guide you to that place where breath and creativity meet.” – Shiva Rea

Class begins situated in a circle around an altar with Cosetta guiding participants through the beginnings of the ceremony. A sweaty celebration of loosely guided free-form movement follows. The room is candle lit and filled with music. All are welcome; no previous dance experience needed.

Winter Solstice Yoga Ceremony

End the year with gratitude and create new intentions! Led by Gianna Carotenuto, PhD, this yoga ceremony workshop features Forrest yoga–inspired asana practice, vision quest meditation, and a purifying fire ceremony to bring completion to 2015 and set the foundations for a mindful and empowered 2016.

Minimum 6 months of yoga experience. Please bring yoga mat and journal.

The last workshop during our 30-Day Journey, A Grounding Journey Through the Lower Chakras is designed in alignment with this season, where grounding and feeling create the container to see what needs to be released, rebalanced, and expressed.

AcroYoga Divine Play Festival 2015: ACROLANDIA

Divine Play is an annual festival of yogis, acrobats, massage therapists, athletes, students and master teachers. It is three full days of intense practice, play, celebration, performances, and in depth exploration of yoga, acrobatics and healing arts. In addition to the primary festival, AcroYoga also hosts two pre-festival events: three days of either acrobatics or therapeutics.

Each day, classes will be offered for all levels from absolute beginner to advanced. The Friday day-long intensives are an opportunity to explore in-depth study with internationally renowned master teachers. The Main Festival on Saturday and Sunday offers over 100 classes with certified AcroYoga teachers from around the world and master teachers in the respective fields of yoga, acrobatics and Thai massage. Kula Movement’s Angela DiMario and Jill Baumgardner co-teach an all-levels Counterbalance workshop Saturday at 10am. Evenings, include celebrations with music, performances, dancing, space to jam, and bodywork.

You can come for a day, the weekend, or the whole grand festival experience, which gains entry into every evening event, including the Friday night AcroJam and the Saturday evening performance. But get your tickets soon. Many of the Friday day-longs have waiting lists, and this event is sure to sell out!

Yoga Sound Bath

Please join us for a special evening of restorative yoga, therapeutic sound, and energy healing.

Cosetta opens our session with song and prayer, guides a restorative asana sequence, and offers hand-on healing to each participant.

Daniella steers the journey through the vibrational resonance of crystal bowls, Planetary gong, and voice. The gentle yet powerful sounds lead to deep relaxation and promote cellular regeneration. We close with an extended sound bath savasana meditation.
